Oh my god we are still having the most amazing weather ever and I know that every lady when the sun comes out, has no idea what to wear.

Here are just a few bits from Miss Selfridge, I love Miss Selfridge as they update their website all the time.

The style that is very big this summer is the Grecian look, this can be worn by anyone and is so flattering.

I have picked two Grecian style items for you to have a look at.

The Twist Grecian Dress is dark grey is perfect for the day and night, I love this grey but would team it with shocking pink as it brings it to life.

The Crepe Drop Pkt Skirt this can be teamed with a white shirt for the work look, or a scoop neck t-shirt for the casual look.

I also came across this Ditsey Rara Tier Skirt, the skirt is really good for this weather, but just remember to keep the top very simple.

Celebrity stylist Gok Wan from the channel 4 programme “How to Look Good Naked” is working with Dorothy Perkins giving everyone his style tips and advice on fashion.


Gok is also doing on the website “Gok’s Grab of the Week” this is the must have item you should have now.


The section that I love the best is the videos and advice on your body shape, he goes through all the types of body shapes there are and what suits you best.


I couldn’t help myself but had to tell you about this black polka dot dress from Dorothy Perkins, this is a bargain at £30.00. The dress can be worn in the day with flip flops, and then ditch the flip flops and put on some heels for the sexy evening look.

After just having a beautiful weekend of glorious sunshine I have been going through my wardrobe and noticed that I need a new pair of wedges.

Over the last year I have noticed that Peacocks range of clothing and accessories have really come a long way and are now a great source of reasonably priced clothing. They have a good selection of wedges to keep you looking good this summer and best of all they start from just £12!

Silver Quilted Peep-Toe Wedge
These wedges are the spitting image of the Chanel black ones seen on Lilly Allen earlier this month, these ones only cost £14 though.

Black Sling Back Peep-Toe Wedge
Simple plain black patent wedges, just make sure that with these you paint your toe nails a striking colour.

Brown Cork Wedges, these are so in right now.

Now that summer is nearly here I thought that I would let you know about these boobtubes I have found in Miss Selfridge.

The boobtube is an item that should be in every ladies wardrobe, they can be worn casually in the summer with a denim skirt and sandals, or in the evening with jeans and heels.

The one item of clothing I find the hardest to buy is a dress, because this item has to fit perfectly and show off all the parts you want to show off and at the same time also look sexy and sophisticated.

There are so many factors to think about when buying a dress.
1. Is it suitable for my body shape
2. The occasion that I am going to, is this the right dress to wear?
3. Does the colour suit me?
4. Will everything stay in place that I want to!!

And the most important factor is - Do I have the right underwear for the dress, there is nothing worse than when you see a beautiful dress and you ruin it by adding a VPL or seeing what colour knickers or bra you are wearing

I have picked just a few dresses for many different occasions.

White Cotton and Silk Dress
This dress can be teamed with gladiator sandals for the day look.

Black Layered Taffeta Dress
The dress is suitable for an evening event, maybe a May ball, I would put plain simple black high heeled shoes and a clutch bag.

Black Satin Layered Halter Dress
This dress is for the more daring and adventurous type of person. The dress is very much like a body con dress but that little bit kinder. If you are going to go bra less then I would get some double sided adhesive body tape, to make sure that you stay in place.

Grey Tie-dye Dress
This has summer party written all over it, the dress is keeping in line with dip dye fashion. As the back is so low and if you need to wear a bra I would suggest a bra that has a low back and also make sure it is halter neck.

One of the big trends this season are bows; you will see these on pretty much everything in the shops from dresses to shoes. Many of the high street shops have picked up on this trend turning simple plain tops into a high street hit by just adding a bow. Celebrities have been seen wearing bows from Liv Tyler to Danielle Lloyd who are wearing a black dress with a big bow.

My Favourite at the moment is a Black Satin Bow Ruche Dress from Quiz, this dress is very figure hugging and great for showing curves off.

A good dress for any spring or summer occasion is the White Bow Style Dress from Quiz, this dress is flattering for any figure and can be teamed with some peep toed shoes from Jones I especially like the One Charlton in Grey Pat.
